She had been in her usual good health and on Sunday afternoon she and her
  sister attended church.

A short time before her death she complained of not feeling very well and
about 10 o'clock she suddenly expired. Mrs. Allen was a fine woman, an
excellent neighbor and made and kept many friends who will sincerely mourn her
  demise.

daughter of James and Mary Richards. In her early life she became a school
teacher and taught several terms in what is now known as Crenshaw. She was
united in marriage with Elmer T. Allen of Brockway September 29, 1885.

place, three sisters; Mrs. D. B. McConnell, of Falls Creek, Mrs. Fred Moore,
of Reynoldsville and Mrs. James Boggs of Brockway R. D. 1, and three brothers
Albert of Long Beach, Cal., Blake of Ridgway and Elon, of Hazen. Three
grandchildren also survive, Mrs. Robert P. Renwick, James and Jack Crawford,
  of Brockway.

Deceased was a member of the Baptist Church. Funeral services were conducted
at her late home 1664 Main Street, Brockway, Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
