Mancie Lee Williams

ALBANY — Mancie Lee Williams, 53, died Wednesday, February 5, 2003, at Phoebe 
Putney Memorial Hospital.

The funeral will be at 4:30 p.m. today at Church of the Living Word in Albany 
with interment in Floral Memory Garden Cemetery. Pastor Mary Whitley will 
officiate.

Born February 22, 1949, in Colquitt County, Mr. Williams was a supervisor for 
the city of Albany. He attended Colquitt County public schools and was a member 
of Church of the Living Word.

Survivors include his wife, Gloria Monts-Williams of Albany; one daughter, 
Tessia Williams of Atlanta; three sons, Mancie Lavoid Williams and Serome 
Lamarco Williams, both of Albany, Shirrod L. Williams of Atlanta; his mother, 
Mandy Daniels Williams of Albany; six brothers, James Henry Williams of 
Moultrie, Lester K. Williams and Roger E. Williams, both of Albany, Glynn 
Gildert Williams of Orlando, Fla., Russell Williams of Fairbanks, Alaska, and 
Johnny Clyde Williams of Bronx, New York; four sisters, Mae Alice Tatum and 
Mattie Mae McClendon, both of Atlanta, Annie Grace Williams of Americus and 
Laura Jean Williams of Albany; two step-grandchildren, Kimberly Bria Gray of 
Atlanta and Muya Alexandria Mosely of Albany.
