Oris Willett Taylor

MOULTRIE — Oris Willett Taylor, 90, of Magnolia Manor Nursing Home, Americus, 
died there Monday, October 14, 2002.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Chapel in 
Moultrie with interment in Sardis Cemetery.

A native of Worth County, Mr. Taylor was retired from Swift Packing Company as 
a truck driver. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Moultrie 
and was a charter member of Lena Tyson Sunday School Class. He was also a 
member of Berlin Lodge. He was a free and accepted Mason.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Lee McCardle Taylor of Americus; son, 
O.W. "Buddy" Taylor Jr. of Panama City, Fla.; daughters, Mary Anne Horn of 
Berlin and Brenda Littleton of Albany; sisters, Florice T. Smith of Albany and 
Virginia T. Pinson of Valdosta; seven grandchildren and nine great-
grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Melton and 
Penelope Matthews Taylor.

Visitation will be 7 p.m.-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Magnolia Manor in Americus.
