 Martha Barzilla Griffin Robinson, 80, of Moultrie, died October 7, 2014, at 
Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
 Born January 16, 1934, in Reno, she was the daughter of the late Andrew Romeo 
Griffin and Josephine Louise Williams Griffin. She and her husband will be 
remembered as the owners and operators of the Huddle House in Moultrie. She was 
a former Girl Scout Leader and was former president of the Girl Scout Suncoast 
Council in Tampa, FL. She was also a former coordinator with the Moultrie Senior 
Center. “She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend to all. Her door and 
her heart were always open,” her family remembered. She was of the Catholic 
Faith. She was preceded in death by her brother, Andrew Romeo Griffin, Jr.
 Survivors include her husband, George H. Robinson Jr. of Moultrie; two sons, 
George L. Hoover and wife Jackie of Lutz, FL, and Ben Hoover and Carolyn Taylor 
of Moultrie; daughter, Deborah R. Waters and husband Michael of Meigs; two step-
sons, Greg Robinson and wife Karen of Warner Robins, GA., and Horace Robinson 
and wife Gwen of Moultrie; brother, Hiram Griffin and wife Jean of Nashville, 
GA; two sisters, Betty Jo Vittum of Moultrie and Liner Ann Wood of Nashville, 
GA; eight grandchildren, Jennifer Feagin and fiance’ Craig Costa, Justin Groves, 
Julianne Groves, Josh Hoover and wife Carelyn, Jessica Ferryra and husband Guss, 
Benjamin Hoover, Lindsey Coody and Brian Coody; two great-grandchildren, Melia 
Hoover and Jaxon Hoover; seven step-grandchildren, Eric Robinson and wife 
Cassie, Zack Cannon, Reed Robinson, Chris Robinson, Hogan Robinson, Emily 
Robinson and Hannah Grace Robinson; two step-great-grandchildren, Faron Cannon 
and Lyla Robinson.
 A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. on October 11 at Cobb Funeral Chapel with 
the Rev. Jim Houseal officiating. 
 Inurnment will be later at Pinecrest Memory Gardens.
 Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 
2362, Moultrie, GA 31776.
 Cobb Funeral Chapel of Moultrie was in charge of the arrangements.
