                     Illness Claims Mrs. Lizzie King
 Funeral arrangements are pending for Mrs. Lizzie Calhoun King, 95, formerly 
of Moultrie, who died this morning at Tifton Nursing Home after an illness of 
several months.
 Born in Colquitt County Sept. 12, 1880, Mrs. King has resided at the nursing 
home the past two years and was a Baptist. She will be buried at Westview 
Cemetery here and her body will lie in state at Greene-Gregory Funeral Home.
 Mrs. King is survived by three sons, James William King, Tifton, Jack King of 
Moultrie, and David King of Colllege Park; and two daughters, Mrs. Mae Blair 
of Tifton and Mrs. M. P. Tucker of Tampa, Fla.

                       Services Held For Mrs. King
 Services for Mrs. Lizzie King, 95, formerly of Moultrie, were held 3pm Sunday 
at the chapel of Greene-Gregory Funeral Home with interment in Westview 
Cemetery. Pastor LaVoy Garner of the Seventh Day Adventist Church officiated.
 Mrs. King died Friday morning in a Tifton nursing home following an illness 
of several months. She was a resident of Tifton.
 Pallbearers were Rex King, Mike King, Donald Beggs, Randall Riner, Hugh Hale, 
and B. A. McAlister.
 Mrs. King was born Sept. 12, 1880 in Worth County. She was a member of the 
Baptist denomination.
 Mrs. King is survived by three sons, James William King, Tifton, Jack King of 
Moultrie, and David King of College Park; and two daughters, Mrs. Mae Blair of 
Tifton and Mrs. Maggie Tucker of Tampa, Fla.

Additional Comments:
Mary Elizabeth parents were Henry C. Calhoun and Ophelia Flutella Carroll 
Calhoun. Her husband was Grene L. King.  Georgia death certificate #029889.
