EDNA CARROLL BRYAN

MOULTRIE - Edna Carroll Bryan, 86, formerly of Doerun, died Tuesday, Oct. 7, 
2003, at Woodlands at Cobblestone.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday , Oct. 10, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with 
the Rev. Stanley Norman officiating. Burial will be in Cobb Suncrest Memorial 
Gardens. Pallbearers will be Jessie Bryan, Glenn Bryan, Buddy Bryan, Stanley 
Bass, John Bass and Greg Hortman.

Born Dec. 6, 1916, in Ellijay, Mrs. Bryan was the daughter of the late Mamie 
West Carroll and James Henry Carroll. She was a homemaker and a member of 
Hartsfield Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Bryan; two sons, Jessie 
Clyde "Buddy" Bryan and Vonnell Bryan; and a daughter Christine Free.

Survivors include a daughter, Shelby Jean Bass Cericola of Doerun; a brother, 
J. T. Carroll of Chatsworth; three half-sisters, Doris Dixon of Dalton, Pauline 
Johnson of Valdosta and Corena Winkler of Chatsworth; seven grandchildren and 
nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m, tonight at the funeral chapel.

The family may be contacted at the home of Shelby Jean Bass Cericola, 401 Bass 
Road, Doerun.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Colquitt County, Moultrie Senior Center or 
a favorite charity.

Cobb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Edna Carroll Bryan was the wife of the late Marion Bryan.Marion Bryan was the 
son of Jesse Harris and Mary Lucinda "Lula" Massey Bryan of Colquitt Co., GA.
