Atkinson County Citizen - March 29. 2012
 Saulter Crosby, age 76, of Axson, GA passed away on Thursday, March 15, 2012, a
at home following a brief illness.
 Mr. Crosby was born on August 21, 1935, in Axson, GA to the late Seward and L
Lillie Mae Mizell Crosby. 
 Survivors include his wife, Pearlie Lucille Crosby of Axson, GA; sons, Ronnie 
(Judy) Crosby, of Pearson, GA and Raymond (Denise) Crosby, of Axson, GA; three 
daughters, Lawanda Crosby Faulk, of Douglas, GA, Yolanda Crosby of Axson, GA a
and Darlene (Clint) Waldron, of Douglas, GA; brother, Jimmy Crosby, of Douglas, G
GA; ten grandchildren, one great grandchild, several nieces and nephews. He was p
preceded in death by parents Seward and Lillie Mae Mizell Crosby, and sister, N
Nadine Whitley.
 Funeral Service was held on Sunday, March 8, 2012 at 4 p.m. at Oak Grove 
Holiness Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Williams and Rev. Joe Vaughn 
officiating. Music was furnished for the service by the Cady Sisters ”Far 
Away,” “I’ll Be Waiting At the River for You” and Bonnie Musgrove as pianist. 
Darin Lee sang “Last Mountain You will ever have to Climb” and accompanied by
himself
himself on the piano
 Interment followed at Oak Grove Church Cemetery.
 Pallbearers were Phillip Murray, Mike Vining, Chad Burch, Wade Tanner, Carl Benne
Bennett, Lewis Gurley, Iran Murray, Marcus Cofield.
 Sims Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
