Atkinson County Citizen - October 13, 2011
 Mr. Ricky Crosby, age 47, of Willacoochee passed away suddenly Monday afternoo
afternoon, October 3, 2011, as the result of an auto accident in Atkinson County.

County.
 Mr. Crosby, a native of Irwin County, was a carpenter. He was the son of the late
Ma
late Mary Crosby. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Richard Crosby.
 Mr. Crosby was a member of the New Life Church of God.
 Survivors include wife, Robyn White Crosby of Willacoochee, GA; son, Ricky Blake
Blake (Cristal) Crosby of Graniteville, SC; daughter, Dana Renee (Jayson) Davis of
Ha
of Hawkinsville, GA; brothers, Albert (Barbara) Crosby of Douglas, GA and Ronni
Ronnie (Wanda) Moore of Willacoochee, GA; sister, Shannon Yawn of Nashville, GA; s
GA; six grandchildren; Brandon, Auston, Ethan, Logan, Zach, and Rylee; several
niece
nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survived.
 Funeral services were held Thursday, October 6, 2011, at 2 p.m. at the Sout
Southview Church of God, with Rev. Victor Gilbert, Rev. Hilton Martin and Rev. Cory
Cory Nipper officiating. 
 The interment will follow at a later date.
 Active pallbearers were Daniel White, Brian White, Jonathan Moore, Michael Mo
Moore, Richard Yarn, Kenneth Burch.
 Honorary pallbearers were Ricky Carter, Merrill Jewell, Steve Scott.
 Special musical selections, “If Tomorrow Never Comes,” and “That’s My Job,” were
presented by CD music and 
were presented by CD music and “I’ll Find You Again,” was presented by the sol
soloist and pianist Melissa Gilbert. Prelude and postlude soft hymns were ren
rendered by the pianist, Melissa Gilbert.
 Ricketson Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
