 Mary Edna Crosby, 75, of Willacoochee died March 31, 2009, at Tift General H
Hospital in Tifton, following an extended illness.
 A native of Willacoochee, Atkinson County, she was the daughter of the late 
James "Ed" and Mattie Rowe Crosby. She was also preceded in death by one son, 
Richard Crosby, brother, Johnny Crosby and two sisters, Lelia Mancil and Lilly D
Denby. She was a member of Willacoochee Church of God.
 Survivors include daughter, Shannon Yawn of Willacoochee; three sons, Albert 
(Barbara) Crosby, Ronnie (Wanda) Moore all of Willacoochee, and Ricky (Robyn) 
Crosby of Douglas; eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; sister, Lola J
Jones of Willacoochee; brother, Clarence "Bo" Crosby of Willacoochee; special n
niece, Pat Conger of Willacoochee and several nieces, nephews and other r
relatives.
 Funeral services were held April 3 at 3 p.m. at Willacoochee Church of God 
with the Revs, Jeremy DeLoach, Victor Gilbert, and Danny Ray officiating. 
Musical selections included "Sun's Coming Up in The Morning" by Katie 
Royals, "When I Get To Where I Am Going" by Rev. Jeremy DeLoach, and "Angel" by
Randy
Randy Travis on CD.
 Interment was in Willacoochee City Cemetery.
 Active pallbearers were Dr. Cameron Nixon, Steve Branch, Stanley Clements, G
Greg Soles, Stanley Smith, Henry Moore.
 Honorary pallbearers were Kenneth Hunkapiller, Daniel Hunkapiller, J.W. "Bud" 
O'Neal, Shirley Lott, Nancy Corbitt, Leroy Jones, John Lindsey, John Boatright, W
Wilbert Wooten, Bill Huffstuttler, Ricky Carter.
 Ricketson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
