Atkinson County Citizen - October 2004
 Mrs. Delouise Henderson Crosby, age 73, of Axson, GA passed away Thursday, 
October 14, 2004 at home following a short illness.

 A native of Madison County, FL, Mrs. Crosby was born March 23, 1931 daughter 
of William Allen and Cynthia Morgan Henderson. She was a homemaker and a member 
of the Pearson Church of God of Prophecy. Mrs. Crosby was preceded in death by 
her husband, Mr. Allen Crosby and two sons, Alton "Buddy" Crosby and James 
William Crosby.

 Survivors include 4 sons, Robert Crosby and wife Bonnie of Sylvester, GA, 
Hardy Crosby and wife Lona of Axson, GA, Leon Marshall Crosby and wife Donna of 
Poulan, GA, Allen Dewayne Crosby of Axson, GA; 4 daughters, Mary Rainwater and 
husband Russ of Homerville, GA, Lurainie Delk and husband W.M. of Pearson, GA, 
Linnie Faye Moore and husband Ricky of Axson, GA, Brenda Frost and husband 
James of Douglas, GA; 21 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and several 
nieces and nephews also survive.

 Funeral services for Mrs. Crosby were held at 3 p.m. Sunday, October 17, 2004 
at the Church of God of Prophecy in Pearson, GA with Rev. Robert Crosby and 
Rev. Hardy Crosby officiating. Special musical selections included "My Robe" 
rendered by Rita Spikes, "You Were There" rendered by Robin King, "Where Angels 
Fear to Tread" rendered by Allen & Jessie Jewel and Tina Harper, and "Amazing 
Grace" rendered by Renea Quick and the congregation. Soft music for the prelude 
and postlude was provided by Rita Spikes, pianist. The interment followed in 
Jowers Chapel Cemetery.

 Serving as active pallbearers were Wade Harper, Payton Harper, Chris Moore, 
Jeffrey Spivey, Donnie Lee Spivey and Eric Powell.

 Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson, GA was in charge of arrangements
