Atkinson County Citizen - November 27, 2008
 Mr. Curtis Wayne Coppage, age 66, of Pearson, GA, passed away Sunday, November 
9, 2008 at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas, GA. 
 Born September 30, 1942 in Lowndes County, GA he was the son of the late 
Leonard Berry and Wymena Hartley Coppage. He was a building contractor. 
 Survivors were son, Anthony Coppage of Douglas, GA; daughters, Kay Brock of 
TyTy, GA, Lucinda Tucker of Richmond Hill, GA and Vicki Rimes of Lebanon, TN; 
three brothers, Raymond Berry Coppage of Vero Beach, FL, George Edward Coppage 
of Jesup, GA, Clarence Eugene Coppage of Pearson, GA; three sisters, Anne Ellis 
of Vero Beach, FL, Virginia Faye Bostrom of Douglas, GA and Nell Ruis of 
Dallas, TX; two grandchildren, Elizabeth Coppage and Rebecca Coppage both of 
Douglas.
 Special friends Cathy Daily, and her children, Bradley Dailey and Ka-Deen 
Dailey of Pearson, GA.
 Memorial services were held at 4 p.m. Thursday, November 13, 2008, at Sims 
Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Edgar Musgrove, Rev. Raymond Coppage, and Rev. 
J.A. Anderson officiating. Special taped selections of "When They Ring the 
Golden Bells" and "I'll Wait for You" were played.
 Sims Funeral Home of Douglas was in charge of the arrangements.
