 Mr. Willie Arnold age 72 of Pearson, GA passed away Thursday, May 20, 2010 at Co
Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas, GA following a short illness.
 Born October 26, 1937 in Atkinson County, Mr. Arnold was the son of the late O
Olen, Sr. and Marie Dukes Arnold. He worked for Pearson Ice Company for many y
years and later for Ellie Batten in the poultry business before poor health f
forced his retirement. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by h
his wife, Willene Davis Arnold, infant son, James Gary Arnold, sisters, Betty G
Gay and Mary Katherine Arnold and brother, Billy Ray Arnold.
 Survivors include are sons, Terry Arnold and wife Darla of Nashville, GA, 
Jerry Wayne Arnold and wife Pam of Nashville, GA; daughters, Willie Mae Barlow 
and husband Irby of Pearson, GA, Brenda Star of Pearson, GA, Stormy Arnold of 
Pearson, GA; brothers, Harry Arnold of Nashville, GA, Larry Arnold and wife 
Loudell of Pearson, GA, Junior Arnold of Jacksonville, FL; sisters Wanda Arnold 
of Pearson, GA, Margaret Spivey and husband Henry of Axson, GA, Annie Mae Stone 
and husband Joe of Pearson, GA Linda McDonald of Spokane, WA; 11 grandchildren, 
9 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
 Funeral services for Mr. Arnold were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 23, 2010 at 
the Pearson Church of God of Prophecy with Rev. Hardy Crosby, Bishop Steve 
Sirmans and Bishop Dan Vickers officiating. Special music included “On Wing In 
The Fire,” “Go Rest High on That Mountain” and “Daddy Never Was A Cadillac Man”
presented by CD. The interment followed in Tanner Cemetery with 
presented by CD. The interment followed in Tanner Cemetery with “I’ll Fly Away”
rendered acappella by Stanley Gurley at the grave site.
 Serving as active pallbearers were Johnny Haskins, Henry Haskins, Lil Keith
Haskins, Kenneth Haskins, Tommy Davis, Michael Arnold Joe Bennett, Bill Bowen.
 Honorary pallbearers were Kyle Starr, Kevin Arnold, Randy Stone, Ricky Stone, Clay
Arnold, George Arnold, Joe Courson.
 Relihan Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
