Obituary for:  "C.W. Stallings, a former resident of Dexter City, was
killed in a Nickel Plate Railroad wreck near Conneaut, Ohio, on Monday
night of last week (3-1908), and the remains were brought to Dexter City
where the  funeral was held Friday morning, followed by interment in the
cemetery at that place.  Many of the older residents along the line of
Marietta division of the Pennsylvania Line will remember "Wes" Stallings as
a C. & M. freight conductor.  He was about 50 years of age and is survived
by his wife, one daughter and two sons.  His parents yet reside at Dexter
City."

CHARLES WESLEY1 STALLINGS was born 1850 in Stafford, Monroe Co., OH, and
died 3-1908 in Conneaut, Ashtabula Co., OH.  He married FRANCES JOSEPHINE
KELLAR 12-25-1872 in Noble Co., OH, daughter of HEZEKIAH KELLAR and
MARGARET CORP.

     iii.     JOHN WESLEY STALLINGS, b. 5-30-1879, Dexter City, Noble Co., OH;
d.
4-17-1955, Bellevue, Huron Co., OH; m. MARY CLARE FROMBACK, 7-1900,
Cleveland, Cuyahoga Co., OH.
