Dr. Ziba Lindley, a son-in-law of Judge Rannells, located where Johnson
Allison now lives. He was the first physician in the township, and amoung the
first in the present county, and is believed to have been skillful and
successful. He removed to the West many years since, and died at an advanced
age.
