 Virgil Reaves
  Killed By Train

  Virgil Reaves, a loom operator of the Piedmont cotton mills, at Eagan Park, 
near Hapeville, was killed Saturday night by a railroad train at Tillman's 
corssing, between Fort McPherson and East Point, Ga.
  The body was horribly mutilated and was not identified until late Sunday 
night.  The remains were carried to the chapel of Greenberg & Bond.

  The father of Mr. Reaves formerly lived in Lanett and at that time he was 
very well known here.
  The body was bought to Lanett and interred Tuesday.
