DR. J. L. DAVIS DEAD
----------------------------

News was received in Roanoke Sunday of the death of Dr. J. L. DAVIS in LaFayette
[Chambers Co., AL]. He was postmaster of that town and long time a resident of our
neighboring city. He was a brother of Mrs. Mattie SCHUESSLER, formerly of this place.
