Jose Enrique “Henry” Menchaca – Beloved husband, father, grandfather, great
grandfather and friend went home to his heavenly father on Friday, February 14th
2014. Happy Valentine’s Day Jesus.

Henry, as he was known to all was born in Eagle Pass, Texas to Jose &
Casimira Menchaca. His youth was spent traveling between Texas and Idaho. He
eventually settled in San Antonio where he met his soul mate Gloria Escareno.
They were married on September 11th, 1971. They moved to Idaho in 1988 where he
was closer to his parents and baby brother Manuel. Every second of his life was
dedicated to his wife, children and grandchildren. Their needs and happiness
were always what he thought of first.

He always greeted everyone with his famous smile. One second with him would
brighten anyone’s bad day. He touched many lives with his kindness and
generosity. Not a day went by that he did not run into someone whose life he had
an impact on.

Henry is survived by his wife Gloria of Nampa, daughters Melissa and Martin
Farias of San Antonio TX, Rachael and Lauro Vicente of Houston TX, Vicky
Menchaca and Toni Ramirez of Burbank WA, Lisa Menchaca and Devan Peck of Salt
Lake City UT; Sons Henry and Alicia Menchaca of Nyssa OR, Jose and Rosalinda
Menchaca of Nampa; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews,
and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents Jose and Casimira Menchaca,

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday February 19, 2014 at
