Oliver Fred W. Oliver, 72, of Wilder, route 2, a long time resident of Idaho, died Monday night at Pasco, Wash., where he was visiting with a daughter. Mr. Oliver was born Aug 20, 1896, in Nebraska and came to Idaho in 1915. He lived in Paul and Jerome from 1924 to 1941, when he moved to Wilder. His wife, Mrs. Rachel A. Oliver, died in November, 1944. He is survived by six sons, Donald A., of Valley Station, Ky., Myron F. and Lamont O., both of Boise, E. Guy of Olympia, Wash., Richard C. of Buckley, Wash., and Army Sgt Kenneth I. Oliver; six daughters, Mrs. Faye Comstock of Grants Pass, Ore.,Mrs. Auda Lapp of Pasco, Wash., Mrs. Lyla Henage, now en- route with her husband to Germany, Mrs. Carma Bell of Boise, Mrs. Vera Tarr of Wilder, and Mrs. Naida Murphy of Tenton, Wash.; three brothers, R.B. and Arthur, both of Reedly, Calif., and John Oliver of Bridgeport, Neb.; two sisters, Mrs. Charles Gummow of Visalia, Calif., and Mrs. Elsie Wilcox of Bridgeport, and 35 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
