Helen I. Clark, 90, formerly of 8145 N. State Route 66, Piqua, died at 2:20 
p.m. Friday, June 1, 2007, in Piqua Manor Nursing Home.
She was born May 3, 1917, in Piqua, to the late Russell and Mary Ellen Hunt 
Buck. She married Elden Leroy Clark on June 28, 1935, in Indiana, and he 
preceded her in death Nov. 11, 1961.
Survivors include two daughters, Dorothy and husband David Carter of Troy and 
Mara "Joyce" (Richard) Horner of Tavares, Fla.; 16 grandchildren; 30 great-
grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and a niece, Betty (Don) 
Mullen of Lockington. She was preceded in death by two sons, Richard D. Clark 
and Robert W. Clark, and a sister, Katherine Aho.
Mrs. Clark graduated from Piqua Central High School in 1935 and was employed 
as a cook at Piqua Memorial Hospital for 25 years. She was a member of Grace 
United Methodist Church.
A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Jamieson & Yannucci 
Funeral Home, with Pastor Mary Haldeman officiating. Burial will follow in 
Fletcher Cemetery.
