Sandra Kay "Sandy" Borror, 60, of Fletcher, passed away at 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, 
May 26, 2009, in the Hospice of Dayton.
Sandy was born March 16, 1949, in Parkersburg, W.Va. a daughter of the late 
Oscar E. Lewis and Virginia L. (Higgins) Lewis.
IShe is survived by her husband, Scott Borror, whom she married Sept. 22, 
1967. Together they raised one daughter, Lisa (Michael) Giegel of Batavia. 
Sandy was a loving grandmother to three grandsons, Mitchell, Nathan and 
William. She also is survived by three sisters, H. Lee Eichhorn I of Piqua, 
Candy (Mike) Hefflefinger of Piqua and Penny (Bruce) Shawler of Fletcher; a 
half brother, William Lewis of Washington; and a half sister, Nancy (Dick) 
Murphy of Indiana.
Extended family members include her father and mother-in-law, Chuck and Norma 
Borror of Fletcher; aunt, Hazel Higgins of St. Paris; sisters-in-law, Carolyn 
Lewis and Cheryl Lavin, both of Troy; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas 
Lewis; and brothers-in-law, Mike Borror and Chuck Lavin.
Sandra was a 1967 graduate of Miami East High School. She was a member of the 
Lena Baptist Church. Sandy successfully completed the Leadership Troy 
Education Series. She was a member of the Troy Chapter 256 Order of Eastern 
Star, and she was the A.B Graham Board treasurer. She was formerly employed by 
Hobart Corp. and Peoples Savings in Troy, and Lumpkin's Auto Body Shop of 
Piqua.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the Suber-Shively Funeral 
Home, 201 W. Main St., Fletcher, with the Rev. Philip Schumm of the Lena 
Baptist Church presiding. Burial will follow in Fletcher Cemetery.
