Howard Marvin Baker, 83, of 11170 Helltown Road, St. Paris, died at 3:50 p.m. 
Monday, Feb. 13, 2006, in his residence.
Howard Marvin Baker, 83, of 11170 Helltown Road, St. Paris, died at 3:50 p.m. 
Monday, Feb. 13, 2006, in his residence.
He was born in Fletcher on Aug. 5, 1922, to the late Harry J. and Ada M. 
Driscoll Baker. He married Enona G. Dickart on April 14, 1950, in Piqua; and 
she survives.
Other survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Steven L. and Brenda K. 
Baker of Casstown and Timothy A. and Becky Baker of Terra Haute, Ind.; a 
daughter and son-in-law, Terry L. and Richard Mobley of Huber Heights; six 
grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by four 
brothers, Maynard Baker, Claudus Baker, Luther Baker, and Glenn Baker; and a 
sister, Agnes Baker.
Mr. Baker was a 1939 high school graduate and attended The Ohio State 
University with a basketball scholarship. He retired as the owner of Bakers 
Auto Sales of St. Paris. He was a U.S. Army veteran having served in the Air 
Corps during World War II.
A funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday in the Jamieson & 
Yannucci Funeral Home with the Rev. Lloyd McClurg officiating. Burial will 
follow in Fletcher Cemetery
