Enona Gene (Dickhart) Baker, 81, of St. Paris, passed away at 1:20 a.m. on 
Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2007, in her residence. She was born Dec. 13, 1925, in 
Piqua, the daughter of the late Dewey and Delia (Ferree) Dickhart.
She married Howard "Marvin" Baker on April 14, 1950, and he preceded her in 
death Feb. 13, 2006.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Steven and Brenda Baker of 
Casstown and Timothy and Becky Baker of Crossville, Tenn; daughter and son-in 
law, Terry and Richard Mobley of Huber Heights; grandchildren, Steven (Amy) 
Baker, Bob (Cheri) Baker and Jonathon (Faith) Baker, all of St. Paris, Melody 
(Michael) Ouzts of North Carolina, Scott Mobley of Huber Heights, and Benjamin 
Proffitt of Rapid City, S.D.; great-grandchildren, Nathan, Nicholas, and Noah 
Baker, Amanda, Andrew, Isaac, Mariah and Makayla Baker, Tyler and Emily Baker, 
all of St. Paris, and Olivia Ouzts of North Carolina.
Enona Gene graduated from Piqua High School in 1943 and received an 
associate's degree from Indiana Wesleyan. She is a member of the St. Paris 
Community Church of the Nazarene and played the organ for the church for many 
years. She also was the church treasurer for 20 years and sang with "The 
Singing Grandmothers."
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday in the St. Paris Community 
Church of the Nazarene, 3560 State Route 235 N., St. Paris, with the Rev. Paul 
Baker and the Rev. Bill Blain presiding. Burial will be in Fletcher Cemetery.
