The Piqua Daily Call, Monday, Sept 15, 1941
Mrs. Rosetta Anderson, 61, widow of William Anderson died at her home, 209 
West Market St. after an illness of 15 months, from tuberculosis.  Burial will 
be in Riverside Cemetery.
She was born in Sandhill, W. Va., a daughter of William and Elizabeth Mikels. 
She married William Anderson Jan 5, 1889 and moved to Washington, 
Pennsylvania. Her family moved to Troy in 1919, where William died in 1928.
She was a member of the First Congregational Christian Church. For seven 
years, she was the local agent for the Greenville Fertilizer Company.
Survivors are four daughters, Mrs. Emerson Sphar, Mrs. Clark Lowrie, Mrs. Ella 
Knife, and Miss Mary Anderson; a son, Alvin Anderson, all of Troy; her father, 
who resides in the Anderson home; one sister, Mrs. Agnes Tellis, of Dayton.  A 
brother-in-law, James Anderson resides in the decedent’s home.
