Director of Foundry Company Dies of Pneumonia at South Side Home
William Noll, 69, 2619 Market st., director and stockholder of the Mahoning 
Foundry Co., and formerly superintendent of the William Tod Co. for 35 years, 
died early this morning at his home of plural pneumonia after a lingering 
illness. He was widely known in Youngstown, having resided here for more than 
a half century. He was retired by the Tod Co. several years ago and had since 
been actively identified with the Mahoning Foundry Co. His widow and three 
children survive. Mr. Noll was born at Brownsville, Pa., Sept. 6, 1853, a son 
of Henry and Louise E. Kistler Noll. Before coming to Youngstown in 1872 he 
resided at Pittsburgh, Pa. He was regarded as a thorough and efficient 
business executive, and enjoyed a sterling reputation as a man of character, 
kindly and considerate and devoted to his home and family. In 1887 Mr. Noll 
was married to Margaretta E. Seeger, of Youngstown. She survives with three 
children: Mrs. Edward Hadley, Pittsburgh, Pa; Mrs. R.H. Morrison and Fred 
Noll, city, also three grandchildren. The following brothers and sisters 
survive: Charles Noll, Canfield; Mrs. T.C. Gilchrist, John Noll and Mrs. A.H. 
Middleton, city, and Mrs. W. L. Murdock, Oswego, N.Y. He was a faithful and 
active member of Westminster Presbyterian church. Funeral services will be 
conducted at the home at 3 p.m. Friday, with Rev. Henry White officiating. 
Burial in Lake Park cemetery. Please omit flowers.
