ENSIGN E. NEFF DIES IN FLORIDA

Ensign E. Neff, 80, died of cancer Saturday morning at his home in Miami,
Florida. He had been in failing health for some time.

Born in Canfield township, January 1, 1873, he was a son of John and Harriet
Sanzenbacher Neff. Familiarly known as “Pat,” for many years he operated meat
markets in Canfield and vicinity, and since selling out his market at Smith’s
Corners ten years ago, had resided in Miami. He attended the Canfield
Methodist Church.

Mr. Neff was twice married. His first wife, the former May Porter of Canfield,
whom he married in 1895, died in 1919. In 1921 he married Frances Johnson of
Canfield, who survives. He also leaves a sister, Miss Sadie Neff of Miami, and
three brothers, Martin J. and Roy J. of Canfield, and Cyrus H. Neff of Miami.

Funeral services, conducted by Rev. O.O. Wilson, were held Wednesday afternoon
at the Williams Funeral Home, and burial made in the Old North Church cemetery.
