FITCH, Martha nee MCNEILLY
[Mrs. Frank Fitch]
1 May 1846 to 18 Mar 1928
81y 10m 17d

Ellsworth - March 21 – Mrs. Martha McNeilly Fitch, 81, died at her home here
last Sunday evening at 5:45, following injuries sustained one week previous
when she fell from a chair, fracturing a hip and suffering severe shock,
followed by complications. Deceased was born in Ellsworth, May 1, 1846, and
always lived here, loved and respected by a wide circle of friends, her
devoted christian life being one to be emulated. March 2, 1867, she was
married to Frank Fitch, and it is a coincidence that his death something more
than 15 years ago resulted from an accident, a fall in his barn. Five
children were born to their union, two of whom survive, Miss Elizabeth Fitch
at home and Jesse B. Fitch, West Judson avenue, Youngstown. She also leaves
four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a brother, J. Porter
McNeilly. Funeral services conducted by Rev. G. E. Brown, held Wednesday
afternoon at 2 o’clock from the Presbyterian church, of which she was a
member, were largely attended. Burial in the village cemetery.

Burial – 21 Mar 1928 in Section A Row 3 Ellsworth Cemetery, Ellsworth,
Mahoning Co. OH
