Jesse B. Fitch, 83, died early Monday in the Boardman Rest Home following a 
two year illness after suffering a cerebral hemorrhage.
Born in Ellsworth, May 1, 1871, he was a son of Frank and Martha McNeilly 
Fitch, and most of his life was spent in Ellsworth and Canfield township, 
where he was engaged in farming.  Mr. Fitch was a member of the Canfield 
Presbyterian church.  His wife, the former Amanda Knauf, whom he married in 
1891, died two years ago. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Ray Lynn of 
Youngstown; a son Fred C. Fitch of Painesville; a sister Miss Elizabeth Fitch 
of Miami, Fla.; a grandson and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services, with Rev. Harold W. Kaser in charge, were held Wednesday 
afternoon at Williams Funeral Home and interment made in Ellsworth cemetery.
