Thomas D. Fiffick, 61, Dies: 
Had Garage in Campbell
CANFIELD - Thomas D. Fiffick, 61, of 172 Hilltop Blvd., a deputy motor vehicle 
registrar in Campbell and garage operator there for many years, died of cancer 
at 4:50 p.m. Thursday in Northside Hospital following a year's illness. Mr. 
Fiffick was born Sept. 15, 1909, in Herbert, Pa., a son of Stephen and Anne 
Mrosko Fiffick and moved to Canfield 17 years ago from Campbell.  He was owner 
and operator of the Tom Fiffick Service Station and Recap Shop in Campbell for 
over 30 years. He was a member of St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, 
Jednota Lodge, Greek Catholic Union, Knights of Columbus Marian Council, 
American Retreaders Association and the Independent Garage Owners.  He was a 
deputy license registrar in Campbell more than 20 years. Besides his wife, the 
former Ann Marie Vogrin, whom he married October 12, 1931, he leaves a son, 
Dr. Thomas E. Fiffick of Canfield; three daughters, Miss Carole Jean at home, 
Miss Jody, a student at Syracuse University, and Mrs. Betty Wasko of Campbell; 
a sister Mrs. Jean Bradley of Colonia, N.J.; two brothers, William S. of 
Columbus and Martin of Poland, and four grandchildren. Funeral services will 
be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Wasko Funeral Home, Campbell, and 2:30 p.m. in 
the church.  Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 
noon Sunday until time of services at the funeral home where memorial services 
will be held Saturday evening. The family requests that material tributes take 
the form of contributions to the Miami Heart Institute, Miami Beach, Fla.
