MRS. DEMING, 85, TAKEN
Mrs. May Deming, 85, Oak Street, died early Sunday in the Peaceful Acres Rest 
Home, Woodworth, following a three-week illness.
Born in Pittsburgh, Pa., Feb. 13, 1882, she was a daughter of Charles and 
Gemella Hill Noll, and came from Ingram, Pa. to Canfield with the family when 
a young woman.
Mrs. Deming was an active member of the Canfield Methodist church, and had 
supervised the nursery department the past fifty years. She had been 
associated with the Christ Mission summer camp for many years.
On March 30, 1910, she was married to Jarvis Deming, who passed away in 1962.
Surviving are twin sons, The Rev. J. Roy Deming of Oshkosh, Wisc., and the 
Rev. W. Ray Deming of Round Lake, N.Y.; two sisters, Mrs. Roy J. Neff and Miss 
Anna M. (sic W.) Noll, both of Canfield, and eight grandchildren.
Funeral services, with Dr. Walter C. Eyster officiating, were held Wednesday 
afternoon at the church, and interment made in the Canfield cemetery.
