Funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM on Sunday at the Lane Funeral Home 
Canfield Chapel for Dean Stanley Campbell of North Jackson who passed away 
Friday morning at Forum Northside Hospital.  Dean was born December 9, 1921 at 
the family farm in North Jackson, the son of Minor and Genevieve (Noble) 
Campbell. A dairy farmer his entire life, Dean was also a salesman for Martin 
Marietta Concrete, a Silo Company and was well known in the area for custom 
combining grain crops. A former member of the Mahoning County Farm Bureau, 
Dean was also a member of the Dairy Farmers of America and served on numerous 
farms boards throughout the area. He was also a member of the First Federated 
Church of North Jackson. He lived for his family and farm and enjoyed caring 
for all his livestock.  Mr. Campbell leaves six children: Donald (Sandra) 
Campbell of North Jackson, Harold (Maureen) Campbell of Lake Milton, Connie 
(William) Owen of Painesville, Jay Campbell of Diamond, Doug Campbell of North 
Jackson, and Ward (Pamela) Campbell of North Jackson. He also leaves eighteen 
grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Dean was preceded in death by his 
wife, the former Marion Wehr whom he married November 4, 1944 and passed away 
on August 8, 1992 as well as a brother Noble Campbell. Friends may call from 5-
8 PM on Saturday as well as from 1:30 to 2:30 PM on Sunday, one hour prior to 
the services at the funeral home. Friends may also view this obituary and send
