			Isabel L. Shepler

	Isabel L. Shepler, 101, of Dayton, formerly of Greenfield, died 
Saturday, Oct. 25, 2003 at the Friendship Village Retirement Community in 
Dayton.
	She was born Oct. 18, 1902 in Greenfield, the daughter of the late John 
Clay Shepler and Mary (Ogden) Shepler.
	She was a 1920 graduate of McClain High School where she was  the 
senior class president.  Later, she became a physical education teacher in the 
Dayton school system for more than 30 years.  She was a former member of the 
First United Methodist Church of Greenfield.
	She is survived by one niece, Salley (Roger) Struck, of Birmingham, 
Mich.
	She was preceded in death by six brothers, Paul, Robert, George, Glen, 
Leo and Dallas Shepler; and two sisters, Ethel Whited and Frances Kampmeyer.
	Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2003 at the 
Murray-Fettro Funeral home in Greenfield with the Rev. Wendell Vermilion 
officiating.  Burial will be in the Greenfield Cemetery.
	Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
