			RUSSELL E. IRVIN
	RUSSELL E. IRVIN, 76, of Leesburg, died Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2004, at 
his residence.  Born April 10, 1927, in Highland County, he was the son of 
WALTER and MARY SMITH IRVIN.  He was a farmer and worked at Sagar Dairy, Med-O-
Pure, and was retired from Armco of Washington C.H.  He is survived by his 
wife, MARY ELLEN PENWELL IRVIN, to whom he was married Feb. 9, 1982; three 
sons, DAN IRVIN, PHIL (KAY) IRVIN of Leesburg, and RANDY IRVIN of Alabama;  one 
daughter, DONNA JEAN HOPKINS and friend TOM GALLOWAY of Cincinnati; eight 
grandchildren, KRIS (MARK) THOMAS, WYATT (STACEY) IRVIN, BRADLEY (HEATHER) 
IRVIN, BRENT (SASHA) IRVIN, TERESA (VINCENT) BEECHEL, JEREMY (BETH) IRVIN, 
SHANNON IRVIN and LINDSAY IRVIN; 13 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces 
and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his first wife, VIRGINIA MAE (LEE) 
IRVIN; two sisters, ROSALIE (IRVIN) CUBBAGE, and OPAL (IRVIN) HUDSON; one 
daughter-in-law, ELEANOR MAE (MCKINLEY) IRVIN; and both parents.  Funeral 
arrangements by Littleton Funeral Home of Sabina.  Burial in Whiteoak Grove 
Cemetery near Buena Vista.  Memorials to the Parkinson's Disease Foundation or 
Hospice of Fayette County.
