					MITCHELL DURWIN HYER.
	MITCHELL DURWIN HYER, 50, of 1011 Millwood Avenue, Washington C.H., 
died Monday, Oct. 11, 2004 at 12 p.m. at the home of his parents, RALPH C. HYER 
and BETTY MARIE (HOLLAR) HYER, 1005 Millwood Avenue.  He had been ill eight 
years.  Mitch was born April 26, 1954 in Greenfield and moved to Washington 
C.H. in 1961 from Circleville.  He was a 1973 graduate of Washington Senior 
High School and was a quality controller at Candle-Lite in Leesburg.  Surviving 
in addition to his parents are his siblings, CORLISS HYER of Bloomingburg, 
WENDELL HYER, JANICE HYER, and ANGELA ALSPAUGH, all of Washington C.H.; DONNA 
JEAN HYER of Frankfort, DONALD E. HYER, ROSENA COOPER, and JOHN HYER (JOSEPHINE 
HYER), all of Washington C.H.  Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.  
In keeping with Mitch's wishes, cremation took place.  No funeral and no 
visitation.  Arangements by Kirkpatrick Funeral Home, Washington C.H.  Memorial 
contibutions to the American Cancer Society.
