MRS. C.J. NICHOLS IS HEART DISEASE VICTIM
Dies at Home Here This Morning at 7:15 O'Clock
SHE RETURNS TO MARION FROM COLUMBUS RECENTLY

Mrs Nichols is Native of the Empire State and is Very Well Known

Mrs. Addie A. Nichols, wife of Dr. C.J. Nichols, died of heart trouble at
her home, No 592 north State street, this morning at 7:15 o'clock. She had
not been well since an illness last December but was taken ill of heart
trouble only four weeks ago Monday at her home in Columbus. Four weeks ago
this evening she and Dr. Nichols, who was recently statistician at the state
fire marshal's office in Columbus, returned to Marion to reside. Mrs.
Nichols was sixty-five years of age, having been born in Manlius, New York,
April 19, 1852, the only child of the late Mr. and Mrs. Alexander Campbell.
On November 23, 1871, she was united in marriage to Dr. Nichols at
Springville, New York, and in 1874 they came to Ohio, locating in LaRue. Two
years later they moved to Richwood and then came to Marion in 1882. Mrs.
Nichols was very well known in this city and during her residence here
attended the Trinity Baptist church. Aside from her husband, Mrs. Nichols
leaves a daughter, Mrs. E.L. Hemmerly, of No, 132 west Norwich avenue, 
Columbus; a son, H.J. Nichols of Stratford place, Toledo, and three grandchildren.
