East Liverpool Crisis 10 Nov 1892 pg 4
On Tuesday evening last James Smith, an old and well known resident of St. 
Clair township, residing near Calcutta, sat down to eat his supper in apparent 
good health, when he was suddenly taken ill and dripped from the chair to the 
floor. When picked up it was found that life was extinct. The deceased was aged 
about sixty seven years. The remains will be interred in the United 
Presbyterian burying grounds at Calcutta, the funeral services taking place at 
the church at 10 a.m.  tomorrow
