The funeral of Mrs. McCann occurred at St. Aloysius church at 8:30 this 
morning. Rev. Father Smythe celebrated requiem high mass, and a large 
congregation attended the obsequies. Mrs. McCann was a resident of this city 
for many years, and was connected by marriage with the Darrahs, McNicols, and 
other of the older Irish families of the city. She was born in County Antrim, 
Ireland, in 1830. Interment took place at St. Aloysius cemetery. A large 
procession of friends followed the remains to the tomb.
