East Liverpool Crisis 1 Nov 1893 pg 1
Mrs. James Green, of the East End, who has been lying at the point of death for
the past several days, passed into eternity at 2 o’clock yesterday afternoon,
after a painful illness of months from lung trouble, with complications.
Deceased was aged about thirty-five years, and a husband survives her, with
three children – two boys, seven and nine years respectively, and a little
daughter aged only about three months – the last child being itself seriously
ill. Deceased was a daughter of the late John Grosshans, and married James
Green, who is a potter working at Goodaire, about twelve years since. The
funeral takes place tomorrow at 1 o’clock from the house. Burial at Riverview.
