Biloxi Daily Herald on 16 May 1928
"One of the oldest and most prominent residents of North Biloxi, Moses Lazarus
Seymour, died this morning at his home following a long illness. He was a native and
life long resident of Biloxi. He was 57 years old and had always taken an active
interest in the affairs of the North Biloxi section and had done much towards its
up-building. He is the husband of Laura Quave who survives him. Besides his wife he
leaves three daughters, Aline, Barbara and Lucille Seymour, and three sons, Longino,
Lee and Nolan; two grandchildren, four sisters and one brother. The funeral probably
will be held tomorrow afternoon with services in the Sacred Heart Church by Rev.
Father P. J. Carey and interment in the Quave cemetery."

Additional Comments:
Moses is the son of Lazarus Seymour (1816-1902) and Martha Elizabeth Fayard Seymour
(1836-1909).
