"Adolph Santa Cruz"

"Adolph Francis Santa Cruz, 93, died 7 p.m. Saturday at Howard Memorial Hospital in
Biloxi.  He had been a patient there for two weeks.  Born in Biloxi and a life long
resident, Mr. Santa Cruz was a retired Harrison County employee.  He resided at 113
Bay Shore Dr., North Biloxi and attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church.  Mr. Santa
Cruz is survived by three sons, Donald Santa Cruz, Delphin Santa Cruz and Patrick
Santa Cruz, all of Biloxi; five daughters, Miss Mildred Santa Cruz, with whom he
resided; Mrs. Myrtle Robinson, Mrs. Nellie Robinson, Mrs. Sophie Scarborough, and
Mrs. Sue Trochessett; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Funeral services will
be held from Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home  at 9:30 a.m. Monday followed by Mass at
Sacred Heart Chapel(sic) in North Biloxi.  Interment will be in Quave Cemetery. 
Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. Sunday and rosary services will be
held at the funeral home 7:30 p.m. Sunday."

Additional Comments:
Adolph was the son of Joseph Santa Cruz (1809-1906) and his second wife, Mary Abbley
(unknown).  He married Emma Agnes Quave (1881-1954) on 14 February 1900 (Harrison
County Marriage Licenses, District 1, Book 12, Page 249).
