Biloxi Daily Herald on 9 June 1958
"OLLIVER(sic) DIAZ"

Olliver(sic) Diaz, about 40, died at about 11:30 a.m. today shortly after becoming
ill while working for J. P. Starks Construction Co., engaged in repairing damages on
the Coca-Cola building on Division street in Biloxi. The structure was damaged May
24 by fire. He was previously employed as a mail messenger for the Biloxi post
office. Diaz, a native Biloxian, is survived by his wife, Elmer(sic) Rita(sic); 3
children, Olliver(sic) Jr., Duane and Pamela; three brothers, Ferrell, Ralph and
Gerald; and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Diaz, all of Biloxi. Funeral rites are
incomplete."

Additional Comments:
Oliver was the son of Frank Oscar Diaz (1886-1961) and Clara Elina Balius Diaz
(1887-1971).  He married Elmerita Moran on 20 October 1936 (Harrison County Marriage
License Records,District 1,Book 47, page 39.
