Biloxi Daily Herald on 16 March 1922
"MISS GRACE MARGARET DIAZ DIED"

"Miss Grace Margaret Diaz, a native of Biloxi and a resident of Seymour, died at her
home at that place last night at 10:45 o'clock. Deceased was 13 years of age. She
was well known and has a large number of relatives there and in Biloxi. The funeral
was held this afternoon at 3 o'clock from the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Delmas Diaz. Services were conducted in the Sacred Heart church and interment was
made in the Quave cemetery."


Additional Comments:
Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Records, Book 11, pg 265: Grace was 12 years, 11 months, 2
days old when she died at her home in D'Iberville from urosepsis. She was the
daughter of Delmas Diaz, Biloxi native, and Maggie Quave, native of D'Iberville.
