  Sonja K. Bonham, 48 of Nashville died August 5, 2008 after a long battle with 
cancer.
 Born December 2, 1959 to the late George and Mary Lou Rowan Simmons, she 
attended Harvest Time Christian Outreach in Enigma.
 Survivors include her sons and one daughter-in-law, Bryan and Missy Ward and 
Mitchell Bonham, all of Nashville; daughter and son-in-law, Kari and Jeremy 
Rodriguez of Nashville; stepdaughter, Julie Bonham of Nashville; two brothers 
and one sister-in-law, Earl Wayne and Rhonda Simmons of Adel and Jimmy Simmons 
of Louisiana; four sisters and three brothers-in-law, Bobbi and Danny 
Hillhouse, Sherry and David Cumbus, Sheila White and Amanda and Russell Vickers 
all of Nashville; grandson, Brice Bonham, several nieces and nephews. She was 
preceded in death by sister, Sandra Boyd.
 Funeral services were held August 7 at Purvis Funeral Home with Pastor Becky 
King and Rev. Ronnie Lawson officiating. Musical selections were "When I Get To 
Where I'm Going." "I Can Only Imagine," "Long Black Train," and "Amazing Grace."
 Interment followed at Long Bridge Cemetery.
 Active pallbearers were Eddie Boyett, Joey Brady, Chris Simmons, Jason Pritt, 
Cory Cumbus, Adam Isenberg, Russell Vickers.
 Honorary pallbearers were Hiram Griffin, Dave Gagne, Jane Gagne, Rusty Darby, 
Wayne Boyd.
 Purvis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
