The Berrien Press -- Sara Bethea, 85, of Fitzgerald died March 15, 2006 at her 
residence.
 Born March 8, 1921 in Duval County, FL, to the late Lonnie Stovall and Sara 
Pearl Parker Kinnebrew, she was a homemaker and a retired teacher at the old 
Enigma school with the Berrien County school system. She was a member of 
Irwinville Primitive Baptist Church and was married to the late Elder Fred 
Bethea.
 Survivors include one daughter, Kynette James of Fitzgerald; one son, Rick 
Bethea of West Union, SC; eight grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren.
 Funeral services were held March 18 at 11 a.m. at Cat Creek Primitive Baptist 
Church with Elders Chad O'Quinn, Jabin James and Bob Dickerson officiating. 
The congregation sang "How Great Thou Art," "How Firm a Foundation," and "I 
Love to Tell the Story."
 Interment was in Cat Creek Cemetery.
 Grandchildren and great-grandchildren served as pallbearers.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
