 Novella C. Bennett, 86, of Lenox died February 25, 2005 at Hospice of the 
Golden Isles in Brunswick.
 Born August 15, 1918 to the late John and Ida Castleberry, she was a homemaker 
and member of Ebenezer Baptist Church. She was married to the late William 
J. "Boss" Bennett.
 Survivors include daughter, Cathy Newbern of Brunswick; three sons, William G. 
Bennett of Lenox, Jessie M. Bennett and David Bennett, both of West Berrien; 
two brothers, Harvey Castleberry of Moultrie and Leroy Castleberry of Norman 
Park; two sisters, Nellie Selph of Tifton and Frances Sellers of Moultrie; 13 
grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren.
 Funeral services were held February 28 at Pine Grove Baptist Church with the 
Rev. Charles Nichols officiating and Johnny Newbern reading the eulogy. Amber 
Bennett read a poem. Musical selections included "I'll Meet You in the 
Morning," "Never Grow Old," "Wish You Were Here." and "Pecious Memories," sung 
by Donnell Sellers. Kristy Bennett and Heather Griffin, pianist.
 Interment was in the church cemetery.
 Active pallbearers were Kevin Bennett, Kenny Bennett. Josh Bennett, Derek 
Bennett, Mike Bennett, Clint Newbern, Mark Hightower, Donnel Sellers.
 Honorary pallbearers were Jimmy McBrayer, Mike McBrayer, Gene Castleberry, 
Terry Hall, Bobby Norman, Billy Norman.
 Purvis Funeral Home of Adel was in charge of arrangements.
