 The Berrien Press--Mina Lou Bennett, 81, of Nashville died June 4, 2003 at 
Candler Co. Hospital.
 Born March 26, 1922 in Berrien Co. to the late Miles Richard and Mary 
Lankford Nix, she was a homemaker and member of Forest Hill Freewill Baptist 
Church. She was married to the late J. B. Bennett, Jr.
 Survivors include five daughters, Hilda Tidwell of Ray City, Helen Hannon, 
Ann Skinner, Bonnie Jilcott and Vanessa Bennett all of Nashville, three sons, 
James Bennett, Wayne Bennett, Ronnie Bennett all of Nashville; one sister, 
Ruth Bristol of Ray City; one half-brother, Clyde Nix of Stone Mountain; 15 
grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren.
 Funeral services were held June 7 at 11 a.m. at Forest Hill Freewill Baptist 
Church with Rev. Mitchell Deems and Stan Nix officiating. The church choir 
provided selected music.
 Interment was in Bennett Family Cemetery.
  Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
