 Joseph "Jack" Bennett of Panama City Beach, FL died April 9, 2013, at his 
residence.
 He was owner of Bennett's Plumbing in Panama City Beach and proudly served 
Panama City Beach on the Examining Board for 25 years. He was an Army Korean 
War-Chosen Few Veteran and proud recipient of the purple Heart (2x's), Bronze 
Star, Korean Service Medal (4 campaigns) and others. he was a member of Battery 
D, 15th AAA AWBn. SP, 7th division. He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 
years, Betty, and a son, Johnny.
 He is survived by a daughter, Sheryl (Bill) Woodcock; three sons, Mike, Ray 
(Janet), and David Bennett; 12 grandchildren, Kim Jennings, Heather Sulffridge, 
Christopher and Jason Bennett, Amber Nelson, Chelsea Gay, Megan Bennett, Corey 
Bennett, Michelle Braddock, Melissa Braddock, April Braddock, Frankie Johnson 
Barker, 15 great grandchildren
 Funeral services were held April 14 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral 
Home.
 Interment followed at Long Bridge Church Cemetery.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
