 Ina Evelyn Sutton Bennett, 84, of the West Berrien community died September 
26, 2004 at Berrien Nursing Center.

 Born March 28, 1920 to the late Jerry M. and Elsie Mamie Baldree Sutton, she 
was a homemaker and member of Ebenezer Baptist Church. She was married to the 
late John Daulton Bennett.

 Survivors include two sons, Travis Bennett of Lenox and James Bennett of Blue 
Ridge; one daughter, Carolyn Fletcher of West Berrien; three brothers, Ray 
Sutton of Miami, FL, Talmadge Sutton of Nashville, Frank Sutton of Clayton; 11 
grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren.

 Funeral services were held September 29 at 4 p.m. at Ebenezer Baptist Church 
with the Revs. Jim Williams and Junior Swain officiating. The church choir 
sang "Amazing "Grace," "I Want Us To Be Together in Heaven" and "In The 
Garden," accompanied by Nicole Williams, pianist.

 Interment was in Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery.

 Active pallbearers were Tommy Bryant, Jim Story, Scott Milliones, Joey 
Fletcher, Daniel Bennett, Derrick Sutton.

 Honorary pallbearers were Leon White, Roy Conger, Phillip Clark, Wayne Sutton, 
Buck Harnage, Grady Bryan, David Harnage, Roger Walker, Oklan Myers.

 Purvis Funeral Home of Adel was in charge of arrangements.
