 The Berrien Press -- Lola Lee Barnard, 92, of Blackshear died Dec. 16, 2009 
at her daughter's residence in Blackshear after an extended illness.
 Born in Adel on Dec. 22, 1916 to the late Joel Walter and Leanna Starling 
Davis, she lived most of her life in Berrien Co. and Waycross. She was a 
homemaker, who devoted her life to her family as a farmer's wife, and was also 
a member of the Church of God in Tifton. She was married to the late Charlie 
Barnard.
 Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Dolores Luke of Waycross 
and Annie and Elmer Hattaway of Blackshear; two sons and daughters-in-law, 
Jack and Bonnie Barnard of Waycross and Charles and Laura Barnard of Ray City; 
numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
 Funeral services were held on Dec. 18 at 11 a.m. at Music Funeral Home Chapel 
in Lakeland. A graveside service was also held at 3 p.m. on Dec. 18 at Sunset 
Hill Cemetery in Valdosta.
 Music Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements
