 Craig Ballew, 46, of Ray City died February 22, 2004 at his residence.

 Born in Spartanburg, SC to Cecil and Betty Ballew of Inman, SC, he moved to 
Ray City in 1996. He worked at Austin's Cattle Company as executive chef and 
served in the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of Ray City United Methodist 
Church where he served as guitarist.

 Survivors, in addition to this parents, include his wife, JoAnn Ballew of Ray 
City; two daughters, Nicolette Ballew and Myranda Ballew, both of Ray City; two 
brothers, Chris Ballew of Bolling Springs, SC and Todd Ballew of Spartanburg, 
SC.

 Funeral services were held February 26 at 11 a.m. at Ray City United Methodist 
Church with the Revs. Wayne Mitchell and Charles Merwin officiating. Della 
Purvis played prelude and postlude selections. Songs include "Go Rest High On 
That Mountain," "Sheltered In His Arms," and "Amazing Grace."

 Interment was in Beaver Dam Cemetery.

 Music Funeral Services of Lakeland was in charge of arrangements
