 Benjamin H. "Ben" Aycock, 69, of Alapaha died January 6, 2008 at Tift Regional 
Hospital.
 Born October 15, 1938 in Irwin Co. to the late Johnny Mack and Willie Belle 
Singletary Aycock, he was a retired shop foreman with Hubert Moore Lumber 
Company. He was a member of Alapaha Baptist Church.
 Survivors include his wife, Edna Ruth Deberry Aycock of Alapaha; two daughters 
and one son-in-law, Jean Drawdy of Omega and Staci and B.B. Ball of Eldorado; 
sister, Mary Ruth Myers of Hawkinsville; three grandchildren, Jason Drawdy, Jon 
Drawdy, Austin Ball.
 Funeral services were held January 9 at 3 p.m. at Alapaha Baptist Church with 
Rev. Mike Gibbs officiating. Jake Ford sang "Go Rest High on that Mountain." 
Jake Ford, Jackie Spicer and Faye Jernigan sang "It Is Well with my Soul" 
and "In the Cross," accompanied by Darlene Turner, pianist.
 Interment was in Springhill Cemetery in Irwin County.
 Active pallbearers were Johnny Aycock, Bill Aycock, Ronny Aycock, James 
Deberry, Kenny Deberry, Wayne Walker, Alan Deberry.
 Lovein FUneral Home was in charge of arrangements.
